A year after the release of our first album, Poison Flower, we sat down over a bottle of wine to talk about the next project. The response to the album had been so positive that we felt we needed to up our game and dig deeper compositionally. But first we needed compositions.
Darin, the primary writer of Poison Flower, had an idea.
"Dude." He said. "Write a Song!"
And a fine idea it was.
Six months later, with both contributing to the writing, "Stringology" was recorded and completed. We loved making this album and are very proud of it....and we hope you will love it too.
David Pulkingham - 6 String Nylon Guitar
Darin Layne - 7 String Nylon Guitar
"On “Stringology” they stretch into other exotic international realms. Erasing genre borders between jazz, classical and world music, these 10 original songs (plus a Chico Buarque cover captured live at Strange Brew) never fail to fascinate, enlighten and entertain" - Peter Blackstock, Austin 360
